Customer liaison for conversion of Retail Lock Box application for a major bank.  Merged two similar data bases into a comprehensive third data base using DMS/II on Unisys A7 and A14 computers for a financial company.  Then participated in the conversion of the data base and its support programs for Y2K.  Member of the Intuit Professional Advisors program for Quicken and QuickBooks.  Installed and supported PC based financial systems for small businesses in the construction, real estate and travel industries.  Installed and supported various PC spreadsheet and word processing programs.  Installed Windows and DOS upgrades.  Trained users.  Provided ongoing systems support and troubleshooting.  Provided Unisys A series system support for Navy Exchange Command.  Operations supervisor for Unisys A10.  Developed data base to track debit card usage for prepaid telephone cards.  Installed and supported small LANs.  Installed and supported hardware and software for Chiropractic practice.  Designed and implemented web pages for several small businesses.

1988-1991, Mentor Consultants, Senior Consultant.
Updated and enhanced various applications in banking,  warehousing and payroll on small (B1000), medium (V Series) and large (A Series) Unisys systems.  Utilized COBOL on V Series to write inventory update programs utilizing Core to Core and Sto Queue techniques.  Controlled various processes utilizing WFL.  Created user accounting system for Unisys B6900 (A Series).  Wrote screen handling portions of Retail Lock Box application that runs on multiple platforms.  Provided system support and installed operating system updates for Unisys large systems.

1985-1988, Vitro Corporation, Senior Systems Analyst.
Site manager for a Harris H700 and 3 Honeywell DPS6 minicomputers.  Managed team that supplied SUADPS/SUADPS-RT and SNAP I/SNAP II for US Navy submarine service.

1984-1985, Micro Innovative Technology, Inc., VP Software Development.
Managed the development of data base software for SNAP II.  Managed security clearances.  Managed the microcomputer training division.  Taught microcomputer courses.  Maintained microcomputer Unix system.

03/84-09/84, ManTech International, Senior Systems Analyst.
Project leader for SNAP Computer Systems Performance Monitoring and Capacity Planning for NAVMASSO  Norfolk.  Created data base to track system performance data.

1982-1984, Systems Management American, Project Manager System Software Engineering.
Supervised software team that developed hardware diagnostic programs for a shipboard minicomputer system.  Supervised 14 software engineers in offices on both coasts in support of SNAP II.  Installed and supported SNAP II systems on US Navy ships.

1981-1982, Alta Technology, Senior Analyst/Programmer.
Developed a test plan of MX Missile ground and launch software written by Rockwell International for the US Air  Force.  Designed and wrote a teletype interface for a Hewlett Packard minicomputer system utilizing an Apple II to collect world-wide teletype traffic for a major oil company.

1979-1981, Rohr Marine, Computer Systems Analyst/Programmer.
Performed user support and training.  Developed short programs to facilitate user operation of a Harris H135/6.  Converted engineering programs written for other systems to run on the Harris system.  Ran data reduction and analysis programs for raw engineering data.

1970-1983, San Diego Community Colleges, Instructor.
Taught courses in introductory and intermediate data processing and data entry, mathematics, general science, psychology and English.  Developed curricula, student assignments, instructor guides and course materials.  Wrote and produced two instructional video tapes.  Designed and opened small computer training course in 1973 utilizing programmable calculators and then microcomputers several years later when they were invented (first school in California to purchase and use microcomputers for classroom training).
